  • Ford’s Mustang GT/CS package is available on coupe and convertible-bodied Mustangs.
  • The California Special package adds $1995 to the final price of ’24 Ford Mustang GT models.
  • Ford’s GT/CS package comes with two 19-inch wheel options and plenty of blue accents.

Ford is bringing the California Special to the S650-generation Mustang. In one of the most appropriate reveals since the Mercedes-AMG SL “Big Sur” Edition, Ford is showing off the latest iteration of this appearance package at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Keeping with the GT/CS lore, this appearance pack is still just an appearance pack, and still limited to the Mustang GT.

The 2024 Mustang GT/CS comes with the choice of two 19-inch wheel options, with a normal gray or a wheel with rave blue painted pockets. Blue accents also make their way to the grille with the nostril air intakes and a GT/CS badge. The electric blue color also covers the exterior badging on the fenders and tail light panel and the lower stripe.

Blue also joins the interior, with blue accent stitching on the seats and dashboard. Rave blue is found on the special badge on the dashboard. Of course, the GT/CS is available with either a 10-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual. The rest of the interior depends on your GT’s other options.

This GT/CS package, which is available on both coupes and convertibles, adds another $1995 to the bottom line of your new Mustang. Ford will unveil this California Special edition at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 16, but you can add one to your next Mustang order right now.
